At bPlaced, we believe every young person in care should have the best possible experience, and are
dedicated to improving, uniting and simplifying the process of finding young people a home.

bPlaced was founded by Roxroy Fearon and Jessica Sandall, who together have a combined
experience of over 47 years working both within frontline social care and directly with children and
young people.

Having seen firsthand the challenges in placing young people in homes that suit their individual
needs, they created bPlaced to provide a smarter, fairer, and more efficient solution.

Our mission is to improve outcomes for young people by uniting local authorities and providers of
homes for young people in care; creating a system that is efficient, reliable, and compassionate.

Meet the Team

Roxroy Fearon - Co-Founder With over 30 years experience as a front line social worker and having gone through the care system as a child, Roxy is passionate about improving young people’s futures and the most suitable making placements accessible.

Jessica Sandall - Co-Founder

17 years in childcare, mother to three young children with a 1st class degree in Business and Management, Jess is committed to building communities and creating a sustainable future for all children, providers and authorities.

What we do

We serve two primary user groups:

Care Workers (Local Authorities):
Supporting care workers in quickly finding the best possible care homes for children. Our platform allows users to search for homes within a specific radius, filter based on care requirements, and confirm placements—all from an intuitive dashboard.
Care Providers (Residential Homes):
Helping care providers maintain visibility by enabling quick updates on bed availability and care services. Our user-friendly system reduces administrative burdens and ensures homes are easily discoverable by care workers.
